Welcome to the former passenger terminal of the Royal Netherlands Steamship Company! An iconic space of 500m² that will make every event feel special. A retro style suitable for any occasion, especially for those big moments in life: weddings, birthday parties and anniversaries. The spacious bar, lounge area and dining hall each has something unique to offer, something that you won’t find anywhere else in Amsterdam
KZ LOBBY
The KZ Lobby (25m²) has a more stately character and is very suitable for receptions, small presentations, or as breakout room.
KZ STUDIOS
Our two studios (25m2 each) are perfectly suited for dancing classes, yoga, music lessons, personal training or anything else you would like to try. €17,50 per hour, continuous rental possible
LOODS6 BAGAGE HALL
Kompaszaal is part of Loods6, where you can rent other spaces as well. The Bagage hall (‘Luggage hall’, 880m2) is an impressive venue with an industrial character. The venue’s height and spaciousness make it suitable for numerous events such as exhibitions, fashion shows, product presentations and alike. Additionally, the venue can be split in two. Namely Bagage hall West (300m2) and Bagage hall East (580m2), which makes it equally suitable for smaller events. This hall is connected to KZ Studios via a door (on the East side)
LOODS6 CENTRAL HALL
Kompaszaal is part of Loods6, where you can rent other spaces as well. The Central hall has large windows that offer a panoramic view of the IJ. This light venue is excellent for smaller events such as receptions, presentations and photo- and video shoots. The Central hall includes an adjacent terrace with a similar grand view of the IJ
