The Kompaszaal is no ordinary party venue. It is the former passenger terminal of the Koninklijke Nederlandse Stoomboot-Maatschappij, where thousands of travellers began their adventures. You can still feel that history: in the stunning 1950s architecture, with its many maritime references, various artworks, large windows and a wonderful view over the IJ. It’s a space that decorates itself. Your guests just need to get on board and the party will get started. The ballroom offers space for larger events up to 500 guests, the lobby is perfect for events up to 200 guests.
