Amsterdam’s HOT Jazz Club the Jazz Lobby is BACK after our summer break. We have a SPECIAL for YOU! A TRIBUTE TO Billie Holiday played by MartÍ Mitjavila & Laura Dooge! So better don’t miss!

It’s a great opening concert followed by an old school jam session. This is where the party is happening, so come and groove with us.

about the Band:
Ode to Lady Day is a band dedicated which originates from Martí Mitjavila (clarinet) and Laura Dooge (vocals) and their love for the music of influential jazz singer Billie Holiday. Whilst playing some of her most swinging numbers from her time with the Teddy Wilson Orchestra, this group also shines a light on Holiday’s facet as a composer, with songs with poignant lyrics and beautiful melodies.
